The Swiss Program – IME is Part of the Expert Team for Formulating the Smart Specialization Strategy

The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Education and Science, organized a coordination meeting between representatives of several ministries, scientific institutions, institutional partners and organizations, as well as the expert team engaged by the Embassy of Switzerland in North Macedonia and the Swiss Increasing Market Employability Program – IME, World Bank in Republic of North Macedonia and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), which will jointly coordinate the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP), as a key phase in the preparation of the Smart Specialization Strategy.

For the first time in the country, the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development is launching a challenge titled ‘Startup Heroes’, as the first project implemented under the Corporate Innovation Program. The challenge is realized in cooperation with Tinex and is supported by IME, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and Factor Trust – a financial factoring company.

FITD and IME with New Cooperation for Commercialization of Digital Solutions in the Agricultural Sector

The Fund for Innovation and Technology Development and the Swiss Program for Increasing Market Employability (IME), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation which will provide a direct mentoring support for faster commercialization and implementation of projects that will be selected through the public call for digitalization of agriculture.
