Follow-up to the Digital Marketing Bootcamp in Tourism
Today, IME organized a follow-up session for 15 representatives from the local adventure tourism industry who attended the Digital Marketing Bootcamp – a marketing training and mentorship program organized earlier this year.
The Digital Marketing Bootcamp in Tourism was delivered by Brainster with IME support in the period from August to October 2019. It was aimed at companies and organisations that operate in the (adventure) tourism field, and offered training in digital marketing. More specifically, it served as a chance for them to advance their skills in social media strategies, Google optimisation and content writing.
Today was an excellent opportunity for participants to recap on what they have learned from the training and mentorship, and how that ultimately benefits their businesses to be more visible online and potentially attract more tourists . Some of the participants shared their experience in improving their business search ranking on Google which makes them more visible to potential clients, or how they have improved the content quality of the blog posts they are publishing.
We are eager to see these marketing efforts soon translating into an increased number of visitors for the tourism businesses that we support.
